Fabulous Tulsa Fall Weddings
October is the new June!!! Fall has become the biggest wedding season of the year. Those rich jewel tones and crisp evenings make for a stellar time to say I do. Fall offers a variety of textures and tones that simply cannot be found any other time of year. Each unique flower and grass is beautiful on their own but somehow together are perfection!
As a prime wedding season it is important to assemble your team, book early, be flexible and plan plan plan! Communication can be tough so remember to make plenty of notes before you meet with each vendor and provide plenty of inspiration pictures. Your day, your vision!
Recently, we had the good fortune to share in the Osborn/Dement wedding hosted by the Dresser Mansion with day of coordination by the incomparable Bethany Faber.
Our lovely bride shared her vision with our floral designers and we took off. Featured for the event was plume upon plume of pampas grass to soften and blend with the incredible burgundys, oranges, creams and shades of pink flowers.
The gentlemen chose the fun and fabulous new trend of pocket flowers over the standard boutonniere. We loved it! Plus no one has crooked flowers in the pictures!
Aw! The bride! Mrs. Dement chose a naturalized bouquet with wisps of pampas and bunny tails nestled among garden roses, mini callas, cremones, straw flower and so much more. A beautiful bouquet for a beautiful bride!
And then the reception. Nothing warms a room the way that flowers do. Centerpiece ties everything together with impressive accent pieces highlighting the fireplace and framing the sweetheart table. It's the little things that make all the difference!
But at the end of the day, after months of planning, after all the budgeting and stress and excitement, don't forget, it's not really about the party. It's the love.
Oh...and....
Have Fun!
